Maharashtra State Financial Corporation (MSFC), a State PSU has become the Channel Partner of Sify Communication Ltd. (SAFESCRYPT) for issuance of DIGITAL CERTIFICATE. The Ministry of Company Affairs has made it mandatory to carry out e-filing using Digital Signatures.

WHAT IS DIGITAL SIGNATURE
Digital Signature (DS) is an electronic signature duly issued by the Certifying Authority (CA) that shows the authenticity of the person who is signing the e-Form. It is also used to ensure that the original content of the document or message that has been sent is unchanged. Digital Signatures are easily transportable, cannot be imitated by someone else and can be automatically time-stamped. DSC is required for signing e-forms, to secure login and to secure document in regard to authenticity, confidentiality, integrity and non- repudiation.

CONTENTS OF DSC
Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is issued for a period of one year and two years. DSC contains the following information

WHO REQUIRES DSC
DSC can be obtained in Personal Capacity or in Representative Capacity. DSC is required for the following entities.
1. Directors of the Companies
2. Company Secretary
3. Manager of any Company / Financial Institutions
4. Any Authorised Signatory
5. Professionals such as CAs, CS, CWAs and Advocate

1. Completed Application Form with Bank's attestation. Download the Application Form NOW!
2. Enclosures- a) Government issued Photo ID like Passport , PAN Card, Voter ID duly attested by Bank ( Practicing Company Secretary needs to submit only CP Number) b) a Photograph duly signed across.
